In honor of the International Purple Ribbon Project, show us something purple.
The outside of the box is purple... and the spaces where the hulk's parts are - purple. We bought his game tonight after dinner and played it with Ben's mom, Pat. Ben also picked up a pair of HULK boxing gloves and has been punching Pat and I (I fell down the stairs.) We've been having fun with Pat. She's out here to see Aaron graduate on Thursday. Wow - my baby is graduating from high school. Amazing.
Show us a photograph from a wedding.

August 19, 1999. Santa Cruz Boardwalk in the front seat of the Giant Dipper. The train is FULL of our friends and family. We'd gotten married on the pier just 30 min prior and this was our first ride as Mr. and Mrs. Lehman. We are wearing the shirts we tie dyed for the event, every one is - we made 70. hm... I look younger now than I did in the photo and Ben looks older now! Wait, is that HAIR on his head?! <3
Here are my guitars. My Ibanez 12 string, Framus classic (from 1960), and my Ovation. I found the Framus at an estate sale - it's neck was repaired and its old and funky and I love it. The Ovation is an electric accoustic, as is the Ibanez and I have an amp for guitar and mic for voice. The Ovation is a replacement for the one Abby (my dog) broke. The Ibanez was a present from Ben.
Show us your favorite childhood toy.
I can't remember the NAME of my favorite toy... but this one is close to what it was. I had an electronic question and answer game with a head at the top. It was as it the head was asking the questions and gave kudos when you got questions right. You could chose from a number of test cards about subjects ranging from geography, math, language - etc. I believe the questions got harder as you got more right. I LOVED this game. Could be because about the same time as getting this game (1964) my father bought me a set of WORLD BOOKS. I poured through these. I was obsessed with knowing things.
We had a client in the office when the doorbell rang and the delivery was these roses from Benny! Last night at midnight I surprised him with a heart box full of chocolates! We went to our favorite burrito place for lunch and have plans to snuggle and watch more of the entire LOST series. So far we've gotten through disk one of 21. I've seen much of it, but he is seeing it for the first time. :-)
I'll admit, I was hesitant when Ben bought this - it seemed like another "thing" in our work space. Why would we buy a coffee machine when we have one in the kitchen? Zazz. This machine is pure, delicious zazz.
And I get to use my 1960's Denby Arabesque cups!
I have always gone in and out of craft mode. I tend to get on a kick of making something in a multitude of variations. There was a time when I was REALLY into making little cloth animals. Rabbits were the "main" them (since my business is called HOPPING) and I called them Crazy Bunnies - or if they had a wicked look to them (many did) I called them Voodoo Bunnies. Some had wings, some had 2 different eyes, ALL had hearts on them.
I had a series of chickens at the same time - these too had hearts on them. I called them Chickens with a Heart on.
